What travelers say:
Oelberg (Mount Olive, also known as Olberg) is460.7 meters above sea level, the highest peak of the Seven Peaks Mountains. It is located in the city of Koniswent near the Ilibach area. It is 700 meters north of the side peak Kleinerölberg. Because of its height, it is well distinguished from other mountains. There is a restaurant with panoramic terrace on the top of the mountain, overlooking the Rhine to the west. The restaurant is open today and people queue up in front of a small window to buy snacks and drinks. From the parking lot down the mountain to the top of Oelberg, I walked nearly 8 kilometers back and forth, and I met many climbers along the way. The best thing is the people who ride mountain bikes. The technology is super good. Although the slopes are steep, they ride freely, which makes me ashamed! There is a special guide + coach for mountaineering in Germany, and the furthest we have traveled is from Germany to Italy via Austria. It is worth a hike to meet friends on the mountain road.
